In terms of family dynamics, how do all the cast members interact?
Angela [Kinsley] and Jenna [Fischer] are like twin sister best friends. B.J. [Novak] and I are the same age and we started together as writer-performers, so he’s my best friend on the staff and one of my best friends in life. Steve [Carell] is the dad, Rainn [Wilson] is the pussy mom, and Jenna is the homecoming queen that got into Princeton early. B.J. is the asshole smoker 14-year-old who listens to Limp Bizkit. Paul [Lieberstein] is the sad sack of an uncle who got divorced four times and lives downstairs on a fold-out couch in the TV room. Leslie [David Baker] is the neighbor, and Phyllis [Smith] is everybody’s favorite grandmother. I’m going to get into a lot of trouble for this, I think.
This is a drip candle that has been burning since Woodstock. It still stands (and burns) today at Candlestock, located in Woodstock, NY.

The Haight-Ashbury Free Clinic, started by Dr. David Smith in 1966, offered its services to the hundreds of young people who came to the neighborhood from all over the country. By this time, some of the serious effects of drug addiction and overdose were becoming evident. The hospital’s waiting room was known as a “calm center” for those suffering from bad acid trips. (via)
